Jahida Wehbe has stopped the rain of Ehden and rained music and authenticity on audience

The great artist, Jahida wehbe has animated the night of August 13 of Ehdeniyat International Festival, accompanied in music and choreography by her own musical band, within a romantic night ultra beauty, attended by the head of Almidan NGO, Mrs. Rima Frangieh and many of the admirers of this authentic art who came from all over Lebanon. Wehbe showed up behind the giant screens with her traditional Arabic dress expressing beautiful poetry and romance to Ehden by singing life a song written especially to Ehden for this occasion by the Poet, Jermanos Jermanos, and rhythm done by Wehbe itself saying: “Ehden I am the chore of the house I know myself …. First I saw you I said the wind is North…”
Wehbe expressed her happiness to participate in the Ehdeniyat International Festival for this year and for the audience who put on traditional red hats “Tarabish” and wear on traditional Arabic dress “3’abe’at” as a harmony with this night, Wehbe selected a collection of her best songs from her own rhythm and written by important Arabic poets: “Don’t go to the Forest”, “My empty shoes”, “My son”, “You’ve written me”…. And she sang a collection of authentic folkloric songs closed to the heart of people who are fans of authentic art such as: “the bird”, “Come my lover”, “Come over farmer”, “Give me the flute and sing”…. And in the occasion of the Saint Mary feast, Wehbe blessed with her warm voice the audience by singing to the Sainte Mary.
Wehbe who stopped the rain of Ehden and rained music and authenticity on audience, has revealed memories to some, romantic to others and first and finally the love of authentic art and the come back to the roots of real art to everybody.
As per today, the night of August 14, 2011, the audience of Ehdeniyat is in a date with a musical event gathering Oussama Rahbani, Hiba Tawajji and Wadih Abi Mrad in a night that everybody is waiting with enthusiasm.
