The last set of student films was screened on Saturday the 28th of August 2010, which finalizes the screening process of all the participating student short films in Cinemaiyat this year, competing over the first three prizes, and that granted by the audience to one of the participating directors. The session witnessed notable discussions between the attendees and the directors, who debated with the audience the messages behind their films, the techniques they used, and everything else related to their work. The final nine movies are:

Les aiguilles( Jessy Mousallim, LABA), November( Mirella Salameh, USEK), Le printemps ailleurs( Ingrid Bawab, NDU), Zahra al minsiyee( Riham Assi, USJ), Last Bullet( Elie Hissa, CLET), 23adi 3a2le( Maya Wansa, LU), Rahet 3lek( Anastasia Bassil, LU), In the womb of my mind( Sara Booteen, LAU), The examination( Elie Rizk, LAU).

This night was also loaded with numerous activities that entertained the audience, and at the end, the movie “Gibran”, directed by Samir Habchi was displayed on the big screen in the square of “Al  Kobra”.
